Anyway, I really am proud that I did this page in three, days, and I am getting more used to drawing faces.
The hardest thing about this comic is that I have too many cool ideas to address, and not enough pages to do it in. I may turn this into a children's book used to explain science and whatnot.
In other news I am gong to be attending SPX in Bethesda Maryland in a couple of weeks. I love a good comic convention, and the emphasis is on good. There will be quite a few artists I admire there. I love the opportunity to talk with them. Part of it is that I know who great it is as an artists to hear genuine unsolicited praise. It keeps you going knowing that people like your work. Additionally, I think it is fun to talk a little shop, because I learn stuff from them.

I had a particularly good meeting with several comic artists in a very small event in Baltamore last week. It was small, and I mean small. It was in a bar, but I got to have some good conversations about comics, and meet some cool people. One even asked for my business card. I don't have cards for comics yet, but I should make them before I wander around a comic convention.
However, the highlight of the trip was talking with DANIELLE CORSETTO! and giving her tips on places to go when she visits ANN ARBOR. It's a double fanboy dream. Yes, someone can be an Ann Arbor fanboy. I am so much of one, I am going there tomorrow. (Well, technically today.)
I am off to Ann Arbor for the weekend, and I should get some sleep
before I hit the road. Although, if I leave now, I would be able to get
to Michigan Stadium by kickoff. Hmmm... No, I wouldn't seeing as I would
fall asleep at the wheel. bed it is.
I will post my thoughts on something important, at some point this week... maybe.
Andrew
