EOS 82: The Creative Process

OK, so I am back from my little break, and I took some time to make something a little more in-depth than my one-day affairs. Needless to say, right as I was finishing it up, I saw several awesome ways to make it better, but at somethings are best explained with the work itself.

No, I don't know where James is at the moment. Elroy is Writing this one alone.

Anyway, I will be at Zinefest in NYC this Saturday and my friend, Mindy, is doing a signing, so you should come to that as well. Check out her website www.mindyindy.com

Nerd Confessionals 14

Explanation 2: The Pantomime

This is sort of a pictorial description of the fall-out of me trying to date again, and thus, why I usually wont even try.
This is part of a series that I am tagging "Explanation."
Yes, I did this with a sharpie during lunch. So, bear with me. (Rawr!)

Nerd Confessionals 11

Explanation 1: Swordplay

OK, I'm not really going to classify this as an EOS. It's just something I doodled during lunch the other day. It's kind of fun because it is playing with motion and because I inked it with a sharpie. Other than that, um doodle. No, that is a floating hand, not a severed hand. There is a difference.

Stories!

Hey, I put all of my stories on their own page now with a brand spanking new one out tonight. Check them out at

stories.mildlymiffed.com

I'd like your feedback. I want to bind them in a small book.

Nerd Confessionals 1

I have decided that as much as I love comics, I need to take a small break. Over the next week, I am going to work on a little something that I hope you like. It isn't much, but I want it to be done well.

So, to tide you over, every night for the next two weeks I will be giving you little insights into my mind. If I can keep these up, they might become their own series. If not, well, I at least have something for you. Heck, they should even automatically update at midnight EDT.

Explanation 0: Bonus Image!

Here is approximately one third of an ever-growing weird situation that happened to me this week, which may become an all-out muti-front land war in Asia.

And in the combined spirit of Surviving the World and Dinosaur Comic I give you some insight into why I am perpetually single. Thank you, Ryan North, for selling the Dinosaur whiteboard to me.

Back from MoCCa

Hey fuzzies!

I am just a little on the exhausted side. I had a wonderful time at MoCCa, and I met some really cool creators. I have a stack of comics to read through! This only confirms that I need to table as soon as possible. If anyone has any leads, or events lists, please let me know. Who am I kidding? No-one responds to these things.

If I met you MoCCa, it was really cool meeting you, and thank you for the comics (even though I paid for them.)

In other news, I changed my twitter handle to @CrowbarOfComics because I think it sounds a little better than my college dorm room number.

As for my update schedule, next weekend will be equally exhausting. So I will try to get some sleep this week. Stop laughing. I am planning one larger update on Thursday. I hope you like it.

I am also going to start on a short story now. How cool is that?

EOS 81: Life Hack Failures

This is a special comic. When combined with Lona, this is my 100th comic and just in time for Mocca fest in NYC. Seriously, if you are in the vicinity this weekend, you can come hand hang with comic creators. I'll be there, wandering and shamelessly handing out my card.

If you are wondering why this is being posted on a Saturday instead of a Friday, it was because my life was rudely interrupted by what can simultaneously be described as the weirdest and most pleasant date I have been on in years. My dates are all comedic gold, by the way, if only I found a way to have them more often.

EOS 80: Unilateral Sanctions

OK, we have it. The last of my winter series strip. Appropriate since some of my friends received snow this week.

I love wild packs of kids, by the way. You just have to be ready for their energy.
