Here is the latest in this little arc. I might add one more, or I might do some sillier jokes.

EOS 77: Subconscious Sexism
Here is one theory about gender representation in certain fields at certain institutions.
No, I have not actually tested this.
No, I have not actually tested this.

Quick notes.
OK, now that I am taking on some serious topics, I will mention a few things about which I am actually passionate about. (Note the time, as I am writing this during my lunch break, yeah!)
1: Feminism and gender equality: This is a recent addition, not that I was ever really sexist before, but that I didn't understand how as a society we embrace a lopsided view of things just because that is how it is presented to us. We still live in a society where the standard is a white male, and he is the one who will always receive the benefit of the doubt.
2: Comics: I freaking love comics, and I am not going to stand by and let you treat them as anything less than the art-form that they are. I have a whole list of awesome comics I read that you should totally follow. It's even on this very page. I can also produce a list of graphic novels and monthly titles I love.
3: My favorite musical artists: There are a handful of artists, I just plane love and will ravenously seek out, but if you don't like these artist I understand. However, there are a couple over whom I will start fights if you disrespect them. In fact, it is not a requirement for you you to tolerate these artists. You must actively love them. Please, don't lie to me. It's pretty obvious when people are faking this kind of stuff. Points if you can guess which two acts I absolutely love more than just about anything.
4: Faith: I probably won't discuss religion in my my comics outside of a historical and academic setting, but it is the most important things to me. Part of the reason why I won't discuss it is because I know that my beliefs are so universally unpopular that I will end up driving away the unthinking atheists, the self-righteous Bible Thumpers, the surprisingly ridged moderates, and the fearful Unitarians, all alike. However, I will gladly discuss it. If you are curious what I believe, here is a link to my church. www.thecross.tv I can't say they speak for me, but I do find there sermons to ring true. I will mail you a box of home-made granola bars if you actually watch one in it's entirety. Actually, my beliefs are pretty simple and very freeing, which is why nobody likes them (Not even the free-spirited pagans).
Things not on the list:
Science: It is cool, it is my job, but it is not as important as other things.
My healthy: I stay healthy because it feels good. It's pure hedonism, but it is not really a passion.
My online social media presence. I'm not saying you shouldn't follow me on twitter @crowbar563 , because you should totally follow me on twitter on twitter @crowbar563. I'm just saying my passion is not getting people to follow me on twitter @crowbar563. I just use people following me on twitter @crowbar563 as a means of reaching people in comics.

EOS 76: Strong Correlation
It's the first comic of spring. I am sorry I only got to do two this week, but I will finish this next week.
It's simple story and I think it has some points that need discussed.

EOS 75: Goon Cards
I'm going to be addressing some issues about which I have been thinking for a while.
This will only take a couple of strips.
Also, this lab is based on some of my good friends, but lets face it. There weren't that many females to choose from in my department in grad school when selecting friends.

EOS 72: Not Quite Running Down a Dream.
OK, as you can see, I did this one without color. The big thing about color is not the color itself. It is the all of the lighting and texturing that go along with it. So, I will put out a couple of more simple ones this week. As you can guess, the story is not over, and it will probably bleed into next week.

EOS 71: Change of Plans
OK, here is an update. I was hoping to get it out by yesterday, but I got bogged down in the details.
I am learning to adjust color a lot better in Photoshop, so I have that going for me.
Anyway, try an guess the part of the the comic about which I am most proud. No, seriously, leave a reply. I'll give you a hint. It's not the coloring. Although, I do like the coloring.
I will try to have a short story together by the end of the weekend.
