The first is in the vein of Dinosaur Comic and Surviving the World. Ryan North said when he sold me the whiteboard at TCAF, that he was putting himself out of a job. So here we go.
The comic is specifically, aimed at youtube pop-ups. I understand that advertising is part of the cost of free content, and I am fine with sitting through a commercial to get to my video. There is an inherent wait for everything we do, and I even derive some utility from some commercials. What I am not fine with is when they start covering vital portions of the video with pop-ups that are cumbersome (and sometimes infeasible) to remove. They are effectively destroying the content by removing my ability to view the video. It is also aimed at my frustration that I can't get all of my clothing clean at the same time.
The second one is a bit of filler. I don't really like filler art, which is why I am giving you the joke above. I am moving to Pennsylvania this week. I will have a real job and few distractions. There will be good things to follow, like regular updates.
